Harvest moon...

After the resounding success of the first SoURCE Fair in Moseley, it's time to think ahead to our next event.
The plan is to hold a quarterly fair celebrating seasonal produce, gifts and crafts. So, for autumn we're holding a Harvest Fair at Moseley Exchange on Saturday September 25, 10am-4pm. This will be followed by a Christmas Fair, with details to follow.
Stallholders will be pleased to learn that pitches are still only £10, which represents great value for access to the right sort of people on exactly the right sort of day. Email me using the link to the right if you want a space at the event.
Moseley attracts a wide range of eco-minded shoppers to the locality with its hugely successful farmers' market. THE SoURCE is held on a farmers' market Saturday, bringing an increased vibrancy and sustainable message to the heart of a thriving community.
We believe that by promoting Fair Trade, local sourcing and small-scale producers, many of whom are business start-ups, we can encourage customers away from supermarkets and towards supporting their locality.
Tackling the more negative effects of globalisation, with particular emphasis on reducing our carbon footprint and rejuvanating local trade, is something we can all do in our own small way.
So pick up your reusable shopping bag and come along to THE SoURCE, where you'll find two rooms bursting with creativity and passion.
